Fin & Feather's Flickorna Petersson Recept Bok is a special cookbook filled with favorite
recipes from the original nine Petersson (changed to Peterson) flickorna (Swedish Girls)
and their many descendants. Gustav Peterson, the patriarch of the family,(sp)emigrated
from Sweden in 1886 to settle in Muskegon, Michigan. About the same time, Josephina
Erickson was emigrating from Sweden to the New York area. The two met, married, and
had a "baseball-sized" team of nine girls. The name Fin & Feather heralds from a resort
the Peterson Family used to go for reunions."Recept Bok" is Swedish for recipe book.
Some of the recipes in this book came from Etta Ingeborg Miles' "Little Wood Recipe Box"
(my name for it), with additional recipes coming from the other Peterson sister's descendants.
The Peterson girls loved to cook and share their recipes with each other and friends.
This "Bok" has been in "production" for the last three years.
